Sophie Kendrew

Sophie has a diverse professional background across architectural practice and local government, with experience supporting projects from concept design through to regulatory approval and delivery. She has strong capability in design documentation, stakeholder coordination, and project support through roles in architectural studios where she contributed to a wide range of projects across commercial, residential and hospitality sectors.

Her experience on both design and regulatory sides of the industry provide her with a strong understanding of project delivery. She takes a practical, detail focused approach, with a strong emphasis on communication and problem-solving.

Sophie is originally from Christchurch and moved to Hawke’s Bay at the end of 2024 with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time with friends and family, discovering local food spots, reading a good book and getting outdoors – whether that’s walking up Te Mata Peak or going for a run. She’s excited to be living in Hawke’s Bay and exploring everything the region has to offer.
