The Bank Serviced Offices, Napier

This inner-city heritage building was refurbished into new open plan offices as per architectural drawings. The building was also under seismic code and required seismic strengthening to comply. This was a challenging project due to its inner-city location and requirements of time frame. Overall, the project was completed to a very high standard and within the 5-month timeframe. This is an old historic building of Napier, and with this always comes challenges that require problem solving along the way. For HPM to have been involved with this project we ensured that any challenges faced along the way were dealt with early and allowed the project to be finished on time to the high standard that was required.

In November 2020, The Bank was awarded the Art Deco Trust Heritage Building Revamp award, in recognition of the efforts required to undertake such projects to breathe life back into Napier’s heritage buildings. Please refer to https://thebank.nz
