This project involved essential repair, and maintenance works to the roofing and guttering of a building that had developed numerous leaks, along with structural strengthening of the existing building. Phase 1 focused on the roofing and guttering repairs, delivered as part of the building’s maintenance programme. The strengthening works required detailed design, contractor management, and careful programming, as the building accommodated tenants who needed to close their businesses while construction took place. Protecting tenant stock was a key priority, alongside precise coordination of trades to minimise disruption.
